Content Features
D-Mannose
- It creates an effective solution for urinary tract infections by blocking bacterial adhesion on uroepithelial cells.
Di Calcium Phosphate
-
Cranberry Extract
- It is known that it prevents the retention of bacteria in the lower urinary tract and reduces the gastrointestinal symptoms that accompany feline idiopathic cystitis.
-Cranberry extract is used for its benefits in preventing the development of urinary tract infections in dogs, especially for its antifungal effects in fungal infections.
- It significantly reduces microbial colonization in animals with an indwelling urinary catheter.
Chitosan Extract
- Chitosan is used effectively in the treatment of bacterial cystitis.
Astragalus (Astragalus)
The roots of Asfragalus species are used as hepatoprotective, antioxidant, antibacterial, antihypertensive, antidiabetic and diuretic. It is also used to treat diabetes mellitus, leukemia, nephritis and uterine cancer. It is known that Astragalus roots have been traditionally used against leukemia and wound healing. These biological activities are due to the presence of various secondary metabolites of this plant. In particular, phenols, alkaloids, flavonoids, anthraquinones and saponins are considered the main chemicals responsible for biological activity. Some biologically active compounds of Astragalus species have been reported to have immunostimulating and anticancer activities.
Nettle (Urtica dioica L.)
The composition of the seeds and leaves of U. Dioica L includes potassium, calcium nitrate, formic acid, ascorbic acid, ∝-tocopherol, riboflavin, zinc, phosphorus, iron, tannin, silicon, chlorine, carotene, sulfur, magnesium, histamine and acetylcholine. The use of nettle roots, fresh leaves, dried leaves and seeds alone or in combination with other plants has been used to treat many diseases such as rheumatism, ulcers, kidney stones, eczema and cancer. Some studies also show that nettle has an effect on some skin diseases, is easy to digest, has a diuretic effect, and has beneficial effects on liver diseases and anemia.
U. dioica L. was included among the antidiabetic plants in the report prepared by the World Health Organization, and a study on this subject stated that nettle significantly reduces glucose and fructosamine levels.
Tipton weed(Hypericum perforatum)
Tipton weed(Swordwort) has antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antiepileptic, antibacterial, analgesic and wound healing effects. Hypericum perforatum plant has rich flavonoid content and high antioxidant activity. Hypericum species show an antioxidant activity similar to vitamin E, inhibiting free radical and lipid peroxidation.
In a study evaluating the antioxidant activity of Hypericum perforatum, it was found that SJW extracts inhibited H2O2-induced oxidative damage in the pheochromocytoma cell line and also prevented Fe2/ascorbate-induced lipid peroxidation in rat cerebral cortex mitochondria.
Mallow (Malva Vulgaris)
It is a plant rich in antioxidant activities, phenolic compounds and hormone contents. In a study, the highest superoxide dismutase (SOD) and ascorbate peroxidase (AxPOD) contents of M.vulgaris were determined as 97.53 EU g -1 and 81.93 EU g -1, respectively. Highest levels of caftaric acid (CA), catechin (CAE), ferulic acid (FA), malvidin-3-o-glucoside (MG), myricetin (MYR), Rutin (RT), trans-coumaric acid (TPCA), tyrosol (TY) and vanillic acid (VA) compounds were found. Hibiscus tea can be used successfully in gastritis problems, inflammation of the bladder, gastrointestinal mucosa and oral cavity, as well as stomach and intestinal ulcers.
