Content Features

Vitamin C

-Provides effective protection of nephrons against acute renal failure.

- Di Calcium Phosphate

Vitamin D3

- Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) undergoes a two-stage forced hydroxylation, which takes place sequentially first in the liver and then in the kidney, where it catalyzes the production of the biologically active form of vitamin D. Therefore, in case of acute renal failure, vitamin D3 is significantly reduced in plasma.

-Low vitamin D constitutes a risk factor for the development and progression of renal cell carcinoma. The use of vitamin D3 during renal cell carcinoma significantly protects the kidney.

Blueberry Extract

-Inflammation is involved in the pathophysiology of kidney disorders. Blueberry extract protects against acute renal failure via inflammatory and oxidative stress pathways.

Juniper Extract

-Juniper extract provides important protective effects in the modulation of oxidative stress and against nephrotoxicity.

Mallow (Malva Vulgaris)

It is a plant rich in antioxidant activities, phenolic compounds and hormone contents. In a study, the highest superoxide dismutase (SOD) and ascorbate peroxidase (AxPOD) contents of M.vulgaris were determined as 97.53 EU g -1 and 81.93 EU g -1, respectively. Highest levels of caftaric acid (CA), catechin (CAE), ferulic acid (FA), malvidin-3-o-glucoside (MG), myricetin (MYR), Rutin (RT), trans-coumaric acid (TPCA), tyrosol (TY) and vanillic acid (VA) compounds were found. Hibiscus tea can be used successfully in gastritis problems, inflammation of the bladder, gastrointestinal mucosa and oral cavity, as well as stomach and intestinal ulcers.

Tipton weed(Hypericum perforatum)

Tipton weed(Swordwort) has antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antiepileptic, antibacterial, analgesic and wound healing effects. Hypericum perforatum plant has rich flavonoid content and high antioxidant activity. Hypericum species show an antioxidant activity similar to vitamin E, inhibiting free radical and lipid peroxidation.

In a study evaluating the antioxidant activity of Hypericum perforatum, it was found that SJW extracts inhibited H2O2-induced oxidative damage in the pheochromocytoma cell line and also prevented Fe2/ascorbate-induced lipid peroxidation in rat cerebral cortex mitochondria.

Dwarf everlast  Plant (Helichrysum Arenarium)

The Dwarf everlast  plant (H. arenarium) contains many substances, including flavones and flavone glycosides, essential oil, tannins, coumarin, sterins, carotene, katochon isosalipurposides, salipurposides, purines. Flavonoids, which consist of aglycone and glycoside forms, are included in the content of the plant as the most important group responsible for biological activities. It has been determined that this plant has many properties such as antifungal, broad-spectrum antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative, antiallergic, antioxidant, cholinegic, hepatoprotective and detoxification. In addition, this plant is also used for digestive disorders, urinary and kidney stones or sand loss, and strengthening the immune system.

Astragalus (Astragalus)

The roots of Asfragalus species are used as hepatoprotective, antioxidant, antibacterial, antihypertensive, antidiabetic and diuretic. It is also used to treat diabetes mellitus, leukemia, nephritis and uterine cancer. It is known that Astragalus roots have been traditionally used against leukemia and wound healing. These biological activities are due to the presence of various secondary metabolites of this plant. In particular, phenols, alkaloids, flavonoids, anthraquinones and saponins are considered the main chemicals responsible for biological activity. Some biologically active compounds of Astragalus species have been reported to have immunostimulating and anticancer activities.

Birch leaf (Betula Pendula)

Extracts and compounds found in the Betula genus have been commercialized on a small scale and form the basis of dietary supplements, cosmetic care products or biocides. Many species of birch are characterized by antibacterial activity. In contrast, birch sap extracted from the trunk in early spring has been used as an aid in the treatment of kidney and urinary tract diseases, skin diseases, as well as rheumatism or gout. Various phytochemical studies have shown that B. pendula extracts mainly contain polyphenols, including terpenes, flavonoids, saponins, and sterols. The most important compounds obtained in the bark extraction process are terpenes and their derivatives. Such compounds include lupeol, erythrodiol, oleanic acid, betulin and its derivatives, betulinic acid and betulinic aldehyde.

Betulin regulates the production and distribution of melanin in the skin by inhibiting the tyrosinase enzyme. This enzyme is responsible for converting tyrosine into melanin. Therefore, B. pendula has been used in the prevention and care of skin with melanin synthesis disorders. Additionally, betulinic acid has been tested for anticancer properties, and pioneering work on this subject has shown significant cytotoxic effect of betulinic acid on melanoma cells. Research conducted over two decades since the pioneering discovery in 1995 has revealed many other valuable properties of betulin and betulinic acid, including antiviral (especially HIV-related), anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective or antifungal activity.

Horsetail (Equisetum arvense)

Equisetum arvense, popularly known as horsetail, is used in traditional medicine as a therapeutic and analgesic for wounds, rheumatism, tuberculosis, skin diseases, hair loss, prostate, asthma and urinary system diseases. Equisetum arvense contains many phenolic compounds. These components show high antioxidant activity.

Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)

Biologically active phenoglycosides, simple phenols, flavonoids, tannins, polysaccharides, etc. were also detected in A. uva-ursi. It is frequently preferred to reduce the potential risks of chemical activity of some drugs. The leaves of Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (L.) Spreng., Ericaceae (bearberry, blueberry) are known to have strong astringent activity, mainly due to the presence of glycosides such as arbutin. This type of plant is useful for bladder and kidney disorders, inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract, urethritis, cystitis, strengthening the urinary tract, etc. It is widely used for.

Nettle (Urtica dioica L.)

The composition of the seeds and leaves of U. Dioica L includes potassium, calcium nitrate, formic acid, ascorbic acid, ∝-tocopherol, riboflavin, zinc, phosphorus, iron, tannin, silicon, chlorine, carotene, sulfur, magnesium, histamine and acetylcholine. The use of nettle roots, fresh leaves, dried leaves and seeds alone or in combination with other plants has been used to treat many diseases such as rheumatism, ulcers, kidney stones, eczema and cancer. Some studies also show that nettle has an effect on some skin diseases, is easy to digest, has a diuretic effect, and has beneficial effects on liver diseases and anemia.

U. dioica L. was included among the antidiabetic plants in the report prepared by the World Health Organization, and a study on this subject stated that nettle significantly reduces glucose and fructosamine levels.

Chitosan

- Chitosan is used effectively in the treatment of bacterial cystitis.
