Content Features
L-Lysine
-Lysine is one of the amino acids that are the building blocks of proteins. The body cannot synthesize this amino acid on its own and therefore it must be obtained from food.
-Lysine is effective in wound healing in the body. Lysine alone acts as a binding agent. Thus, it increases the number of new cells in the area of the wound. It also encourages the formation of new blood vessels.
-Without sufficient amounts of lysine, the required amount of hormones and immune system cells cannot be produced by body. It helps the immune system by contributing to the production of antibodies.
Methionine
- methionine regulates metabolic processes, innate immune system and digestive function.
- It interferes with lipid metabolism, activation of endogenous antioxidant enzymes such as methionine sulfoxide reductase A, and biosynthesis of glutathione to counteract oxidative stress.
- In addition, methionine restriction prevents altered methionine/transmethylation metabolism, thereby reducing DNA damage and carcinogenic processes and preventing arterial, neuropsychiatric, neurodegenerative diseases.
Vitamin A
- VitA is a micronutrient that is crucial for promoting growth and development, maintaining epithelial mucus integrity in the body, it is known as an anti-inflammation vitamin due to its critical role in strengthening immune function.
-It plays regulatory roles in cellular immune responses and humoral immune processes in the development of the immune system.
- It has a therapeutic effect in the treatment of infectious diseases.
-Provides the mucus barrier and production of white blood cells that help trap bacteria and infectious agents in the eyes, lungs and intestines.
-In vitamin A deficiencies, susceptibility to infections increases and recovery from the disease is delayed.
Vitamin C
-Vitamin C stimulates the immune system by improving T-lymphocyte proliferation in response to infections, which increases cytokine production and immunoglobulin synthesis.
Omega 3
- Omega 3, an essential fatty acid, helps reduce inflammation. It plays a role in mediating inflammatory processes and immunomodulation for both the innate and adaptive immune systems.
- Omega-3 fatty acids are considered polyunsaturated fatty acids that regulate the activation of immune cells, especially in macrophages, neutrophils, T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, natural killer cells, mast cells, basophils and eosinophils.
